Appointed to the Port Authority Police Department in 2006. As a Police Officer, Oscar was assigned to the WTC command, PATH Command and LGA Command before being promoted to Sergeant in 2014. As a Patrol Sergeant, Oscar was assigned to JKF Patrol and Cadre, LGA and PATH Commands. Oscar was promoted to Lieutenant in February 2018. As a Police Lieutenant, Oscar was assigned to the PABT, LGA, the Pool and George Washington Bridge, where he is currently assigned.

In 2022, Oscar was elected to the Executive Board as a Trustee in the Lieutenants Benevolent Association and currently serves as the Associations Corresponding Secretary since his appointment to the position in February of 2025.
